Why Osteo?

My favourite part of Osteopathy is the holistic approach to treatment. We never just look at the individual area that is bothering you but the whole. With our hands-on treatment we work the structure and function of the body. Our goal is to get the physiological, neurological, and circulatory systems working optimally and working as a whole. All aid in helping each other heal and maintain health.

I get this question a lot. What is the difference between Osteopathy, Physiotherapy, Myotherapy and Chiropractic? The answer is not a clean cut simple one but I always start by telling my patients that the main thing at the end of the day is that you are feeling better, getting results and are safe in the hands of your practitioner. I like to do this because I think there can be a preconceived idea that all osteopath's dislike physio's and vice versa. For me at the end of the day my main goal is to get you feeling good, moving better and doing what you love.

As the founder of Osteopathy Dr A.T. Still said:
